Lakeland Field Hockey Wins Regional Championship
Lakeland High School will face Section 4 Champion Vestal HS (near Binghamton) at 1:30pm on Saturday in the NY State Semifinals.

Lakeland High School won the Class B Field Hockey Regional this past weekend (Nov. 9) to qualify for another trip to the NYS Championships. Lakeland plays Saturday afternoon (Nov. 15, 1:30 pm) at Maine Endwell High School in the Class B NYS semifinals. They will face Section 4 Champion Vestal HS (near Binghamton) at 1:30pm on Saturday.
The Hornets are headed to the NY State Tournament for the sixth year in a row. They have won five consecutive state Class B titles.
On Sunday, November 9, Dana Bozek and Molly Fitzpatrick each scored two goals in the 6-0 victory over Rondout Valley HS last Saturday. Emily Power and Julia Kim added goals for the final margin.

Last week (Nov. 6) they won their sixth straight Section One Class B title with a thrilling, double overtime win over Rye 3-2.
