Lakeland HS FBLA Donates to Support Connection

The Lakeland High School Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) presented Support Connection of Yorktown with a check for $1,125 in donations. The gift was raised during the 25th Annual Support Connection Walk on Sunday, October 6, 2019. LHS FBLA members and advisers with the help of Adviser Charlene Nigro ran the refreshment concession stand at the walk. Through the chapter’s outstanding efforts, they were able to hand over the donation in the form of an oversize check on October 24 in the high school's library. It is the largest donation the FBLA has made to a charitable organization.

SUPPORT CONNECTION, INC. is a not-for-profit organization that provides emotional, social and educational support to women, their families and friends affected by breast and ovarian cancer.
