Lakeland Student Wins Science Award For Project

The award was presented at the Westchester Science & Engineering Fair.

SHRUB OAK, NY — A science research student at Lakeland High School won an award at the Westchester Science & Engineering Fair at Sleepy Hollow High School in March. Jothi Ramaswamy received the Innovations in Biological Science Research Award.

Her project was titled “Investigation of Daily Functional Risks in the Senior Population Using Support Vector Machines,” tapinto.net said.
