Man, 19, Arrested While in Yorktown Court on Unrelated Charges
The Dec. 4 charges related to the alleged theft of a purse and use of a stolen credit card.
A 19-year-old Putnam Valley man faces charges of petty larceny, criminal possession of stolen property and forgery.
Yorktown police arrested Nicholas A. Dellabate Dec. 4 while he was in Yorktown town court on an unrelated charge.
These charges stem from an incident Nov. 21 at the Hess gas and service station on Crompond Road. Police were called there to investigate the theft of a purse from a car in the parking lot. The investigation identified Dellabate—and, police said, surveillance tapes show he used a credit card stolen from a Cortlandt resident and forged the cardholder’s signature on the receipt.
