Man Accused Of Driving With Suspended License

He was stopped during a traffic enforcement detail.

YORKTOWN, NY — A Yorktown man was accused of driving while his license was suspended. Police said Justin T. Rones, 33, of Yorktown, was charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, a misdemeanor, and exceed maximum speed limit, a traffic infraction.

Around 7:50 a.m. April 23, an officer on Route 202 in a traffic enforcement detail saw Rones driving by while speeding.

After a traffic stop, a routine check of his license found Rones was driving while his privilege to do so was suspended for failing to answer summonses.

He was arrested and taken to police headquarters for processing.

Rones was issued uniform traffic tickets and released on $50 bail.

He is due to appear in Yorktown Justice Court May 23.
