Man Accused of Stealing Cash from Yorktown Sears

The theft occurred over a nine-day period.

YORKTOWN, NY — A Putnam Valley man was arrested after being accused of stealing from Sears.

Police said Dominic J. Santucci, 53, was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny, a felony.

On Jan. s15, around 7:20 p.m., police responded to the Sears in the Jefferson Valley Mall for a report of theft.

An investigation found that, over a nine-day period, Santucci stole cash from a register amounting to a total of $1,017, police said.

He was arrested and taken to the Yorktown Police Department for processing.

Santucci was released on his own recognizance to appear in Yorktown Justice Court Feb. 16.
