Man Arrested On Drug Charges In Yorktown: Police

Police said the Bronxville resident was allegedly smoking a joint.

YORKTOWN, NY — A Bronxville man was arrested in Yorktown on drug charges. Yorktown Police said Luigj Bucaj, 52, of Bronxville, was charged with fourth- and fifth-degree criminal possession of marijuana, misdemeanors.

An officer on routing parole April 23 around 5:52 p.m. saw a passenger in a vehicle who was allegedly smoking a marijuana cigarette and was in possession of 2.1 ounces of marijuana.

Bucaj was arrested and taken to the Yorktown Police Department for processing.

He was released on $100 bail and is due to appear in Yorktown Justice Court May 23.
