"Messiah" at the First Presbyterian Church in Yorktown on December 6th
Come listen to Handel's Messiah on Saturday, December 6, at 7:30 pm!

On Saturday evening, December 6th at 7:30, the First Presbyterian Church (2880 Crompond Road, Yorktown Heights) will offer its 14th annual Christmas Concert, featuring Handel’s Messiah. The performance will feature guest professional soloists, the church Concert Choir, and a professional orchestra under the direction of Simona Frenkel on organ, piano and harpsichord.
Handel’s Messiah is a beloved Christmas tradition and arguably the most popular piece of music in the world. The Christmas portion of Messiah follows the story of Jesus’ birth from early prophesy to the stable in Bethlehem, and ends with the triumphant Hallelujah chorus. The second half of the concert will feature the Concertino New York Chamber Ensemble with Chloe Fedor and Deborah Song, violinists, Sarah Adams, viola, Andrey Tchekmazov, cello, and David Glukh, trumpet. Professional international soloists include Matthew Curran, bass, Hanna Golodinski, soprano, Nadine Kulberg, alto and Richard Newman, tenor.
A reception will follow the concert in Fellowship Hall. A $20 donation is suggested. For more information call (914) 245-2186; www.fpcyorktown.org
