Missing Teens Found: 'Both Girls Have Been Located And Are Safe'
17-year-old Evelyn Jimenez and 15-year-old Violet Munroe were last seen on May 12, and had been reported missing by their families.

YORKTOWN, NY — Tonight, the story of two families' desperate search for their missing loved ones has a happy ending.
"Thank you to all who demonstrated sincere care and concern in locating Violet and Evelyn. We are happy to report that both girls have been located and are safe," the Yorktown Police Department posted on social media Wednesday night. "We thank all of our partners in law enforcement, who worked tirelessly with us to locate Violet and Evelyn. Special thank you to Special Agent P. Goulet and all of the members of the FBI Safe Streets Task Force, who worked with Yorktown Police Department detectives and New York State Police investigators around the clock, and ultimately located Violet and Evelyn today."
Details about how and where the teens were found safe have not yet been made public.

The New York State Police in Cortlandt and the Yorktown Police Department had been searching for 17-year-old Evelyn Jimenez and 15-year-old Violet Munroe who were reported missing by their families. They were last seen on May 12, in the city of Peekskill, and had been known to frequent the White Plains area.
Law enforcement had asked for the public's help in the search.
