The Peekskill resident was pulled over on Strawberry Road, police said.

YORKTOWN, NY — A Peekskill woman faces driving charges in Yorktown after an officer stopped her for speeding Monday. Elissa L. Liaz-Daboy, 38, faces a misdemeanor charge of third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle as well as the speeding ticket.
She was stopped at about 12:20 p.m. Dec. 10 by an officer who said she was speeding on Strawberry Road, which is often used as a shortcut to avoid heavy traffic on Route 6.
The routine driver's license check revealed her driving privileges were suspended for failing to answer a summons in Ulster County, police said.
