Murphy Calls the Kettle Black – Look in the Mirror!

Terrence Murphy’s hypocrisy is appalling! Murphy is now accusing his SD 40 opponents of being under the influence of Mayor de Blasio! Murphy’s accusations are hype and bluster. As a supporter of Robert Kesten, I know that there is no influence, and not one donation of any amount.

What about Murphy? He has a long record of support for such corrupt officials as the convicted Dean Skelos. Dean Skelos helped fund Murphy’s entry into Albany politics! According to the Board of Elections for New York State in 2014, Dean Skelos donated $10,300 to the campaign of Terrence Murphy. USA Today on 05/03/15 reported “Sen. Terrence Murphy, R-Yorktown, said Senate Republican Leader Dean Skelos has been a "true gentleman" to him since he joined the Senate this year and dismissed reports of Skelos' pending arrest as “accusations."

That’s real influence peddling by someone found guilty of “extortion, wire fraud and bribery charges of pressuring businesses” according to a FOX News (07/17/18) article.

This is the real corruption in Albany by our elected officials. Senator Murphy should stop his false accusations and look to home. Between the Corporations, Corporate PACs and influence peddling politicians, the Senator is beholding to too many special interests.

I’m going to vote for Robert Kesten because he truly believes in People over Politics. His contributions prove this point as does his grassroots support. No one else can make this claim.
