Yorktown councilman Vishnu Patel attended the 10th Anniversary celebration of the New York State Veterans Home at Montrose, which was held last week. Local and state officials attended the event. 

The New York State Veterans' Home at Montrose is a healthcare facility owned and operated by the New York State Department of Health for Veterans' and their dependants. It has been serving army, navy, marine and air force veterans and their families since 2001. The facility has 252 beds.
