Organic, Gluten-Free Restaurant Opens In Yorktown

The restaurant owner opened it in honor of his late wife.

YORKTOWN, NY — There is a new eatery in northern Westchester where people can get meals with organic ingredients. Eda’s Garden, which opened Nov. 6, was created by Adil Mustafaraj and it honors his wife Edlira who was killed by a falling tree branch three months ago.

The couple had switched to an organic diet before her death and came up with the idea for the new restaurant because they found few options, tapinto.net said.

The restaurant, which is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday, has an all organic and gluten-free menu with omelettes and breakfast bowls, as well as hot bowls and salads.
