Peekskill Man Accused of Shoplifting at the JV Mall

Police allege he took 2 Kitchen Aid mixers and a Keurig coffee maker without paying.

Oscar Jackson, 67, of Peekskill, faces a charge of fourth-degree grand larceny, a felony.

Sears security called Yorktown police Aug. 24 at 1:52 p.m. saying they had a shoplifter in custody.

They then told police they believed the shoplifter had been involved in an Aug. 22 incident in which a Keurig coffee maker and two Kitchen Aid mixers, valued at $1,039.97, were taken.

Jackson was sent to Westchester County Jail without bail and is due back in Yorktown town court Sept. 10.
