Peekskill Man Crashed Car in Yorktown, Faces Drunk Driving Charge
A motorist reported a one-vehicle accident.

Yorktown, NY — A 31-year-old Peekskill man was arrested by Yorktown police and faces multiple charges including drunk driving.
Police said they received a call from a motorist July 9 around 8:46 p.m. reporting a one-vehicle personal injury accident on Old Crompond Road.
When police got to the scene, they arrested Julio C. Coronel of South Street in Peekskill.

He hit a utility pole while driving while intoxicated, police said, as well as being unlicensed, failing to maintain his lane of travel and speeding.
Coronel was treated and released from Hudson Valley Hospital for minor injuries, after which he was taken to police headquarters.

He was charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, and unlicensed operation, failure to maintain lane and speed not reasonable/prudent, traffic violations.
Coronel was released on $100 bail to a family member and will appear in Yorktown Court July 21.
