Peekskill Woman Accused of Unlicensed Driving in Yorktown

Michelle J. Morales, 23, of Peekskill, faces a third-degree charge of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, a misdemeanor.

Yorktown police were called to an accident scene at the intersection of Route 6 and Lexington Avenue at 7:13 p.m. April 6.

Their investigation revealed that Morales was driving without a valid license—it had been suspended for failure to pay a fine, police said.

She is due to appear in Yorktown town court May 7.
