Planning Board accepts Costco FEIS. Rejects rezoning at Bear Mt. Triangle

1. Costco
The board voted unanimously to accept the Costco FEIS as complete and will prepare a Revised FEIS document that reflects the board’s comments. There will be a 10-day written comment period.

2. Lake Osceola Square
The board will do a site visit and most likely schedule a public hearing in November. No decisions have been made about public access to the beach.

3. BJ’s Wholesale Club/C-3 rezoning for gas pumps
The board will send a positive recommendation to the Town Board in support of the rezoning request.

4. Crompond Terraces
The board will not support the current rezoning request for a mixed use development of 96 age oriented units and some commercial space.
