YORKTOWN, NY — A 24-year-old Yorktown Heights man was arrested July 23 for driving drunk.

Police said Jonathan A. Lobo was charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, and refusal of a breath test, parked in fire zone and open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, traffic infractions.

A Yorktown police officer on routine patrol found a dispute among several subjects in the 7-Eleven parking lot at 1949 Commerce St.

After an investigation, Lobo was arrested because, police said, he was driving while intoxicated and refused to take a breath test.

Lobo was also parked in a fire zone and had an open container of alcohol in the car, police said.

He was taken to Yorktown Police Headquarters were he was processed and released on $200 bail.

His next court appearance in Yorktown Justice Court on August 4, 2016.
