Police Arrest Yorktown Man with 1.9 Ounces of Marijuana
The man was a passenger in a suspicious car in a Crompond Road parking lot, police said.
YORKTOWN, NY — At 8:33 p.m. Feb. 2, an officer on patrol in Yorktown saw a vehicle he considered suspicious in the parking lot of 3394 Crompond Road.
Police say he found that a passenger in the vehicle, a 29-year-old Yorktown Heights man, was in possession of 54 grams of marijuana.
He was arrested and processed on the charge of Fifth-degree Criminal Possession of Marijuana, a misdemeanor. He posted $100 bail and is due in town court March 7.
