Police Say Putnam County Man Exposed Himself To Woman

He voluntarily went to police headquarters where he was arrested.

YORKTOWN, NY — A Putnam County man was accused of exposing himself to a woman. Yorktown police said Richard Joseph Foley, 65, of Mahopac, was charged with public lewdness, a misdemeanor.

Police said that, around 10:45 a.m. Aug. 6, a report was received about a man exposed himself to a woman at a physical therapist's office.

The investigation found that Foley pulled down his pants and underwear and exposed himself to her, police said.

He voluntarily went to police headquarters Aug. 14 and he was arrested.

During Foley's arraignment in Yorktown Justice Court, the judge issued an order of protection on behalf of the victim.

He was released on his own recognizance and is due back in court Sept. 5.
