Poughkeepsie Man Takes Car Without Permission
Police conducted a traffic stop on the Taconic State Parkway.
YORKTOWN, NY — A Dutchess County man was accused of driving a car without the permission of the owner. Yorktown police said Andrew Malik Wilson, 24, of Poughkeepsie, was charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, a misdemeanor.
Police said, around 3:30 p.m. Saturday, the Real Time Crime Center notified them of what they thought was a stolen vehicle traveling north on the Taconic State Parkway.
A traffic stop was conducted and officers said Wilson had not been given permission from the owner to use the car.

He was arrested and taken to police headquarters for processing.
Wilson was released on his own recognizance to appear in Yorktown Justice Court Jan 28.
