Poughkeepsie Man Takes An Expensive Drive In Yorktown
He walked away with summonses for aggravated unlicensed operation, unregistered motor vehicle and not notifying DMV of an address change.

YORKTOWN, NY — Yorktown police arrested a 30-year-old Poughkeepsie man for a laundry list of traffic infractions.
Police say that on on September 13, shortly after 6 p.m., an officer was told by a detective that a vehicle was being driven with an expired registration near the Jefferson Valley Mall.
The officer spotted the vehicle on Barger Street and made a traffic stop.

The driver of the vehicle was later identified as Nicholas Karwaski. A driver's license inquiry revealed that he was operating a motor vehicle while his license was suspended in New York, according to police.
Karwaski was processed at the scene.

He was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation second degree, a misdemeanor; having an unregistered motor vehicle, a traffic infraction; being an unlicensed operator, a traffic infraction; and failure to notify the DMV of an address change, a traffic infraction.
Karwaski was issued traffic tickets and released on his own recognizance. He is due to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on October 1.
