PROMISES MADE; PROMISES KEPT
Since my first campaign, I pledged to work towards ensuring our residents have “reasonable access to the court.” Over the years, Judge Lagonia and I have worked hard to make this happen. Recent developments have increased the Yorktown Justice Court’s Vehicle and Traffic related case load, requiring an additional level of effort on behalf of the court and our staff. We are committed to addressing this challenge.
Starting this Wednesday, I will be conducting a special full day session of Vehicle and Traffic court, a full day session on Thursday in addition to my normal evening calendar, and another full day session on Thursday, February 20th. Working with Judge Lagonia, we anticipate a significant reduction in pending cases, which will be welcomed by Yorktown residents.
