Road Closings For Yorktown Halloween Costume Parade
In case of rain, the carnival only will be held the following day.

YORKTOWN, NY — The Yorktown Lions Club-sponsored Halloween Costume Parade will be held between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28. To provide for the safety of parade participants and spectators, the Yorktown Police Department will close some roadways temporarily.
The following will be closed to accommodate the event:
- Commerce Street at Downing Drive
- Hanover Street at Commerce Street
- Commerce Street between Veterans Road and Downing Drive
- Veterans Road between Commerce Street and Maple Hill Street
According to the Town of Yorktown website, the parade will begin at the Yorktown Plaza Park (Rexall’s) at 2 p.m.

Participants will march to the Yorktown Community & Cultural Center for outdoor Halloween activities, costume showcase, hay rides and entertainment.
No registration is required for this event which is free to all Yorktown residents.

The rain date is Sunday, Oct. 29. Only the carnival will be held; there will be no parade.
