School Closings, Delays Monday For Hastings Area
There were a lot of damage and power outages from the massive nor'easter.
HASTINGS-ON-HUDSON, NY — Some area schools have altered their schedules or closed for Monday, March 5 because of storm damage or the lack of electricity from the Friday's nor'easter. As of 6:30 a.m., they are as follows:
- Bedford Central School District: 2-hour delay
- Blind Brook Public Schools: 2-hour delay
- Fallsburg Central School District: Closed
- Greenburgh Central Number 7 - Other
- Harvey School: Closed
- Hastings-on-Hudson School District: Closed
- Hayes Day School: Closed
- John F. Kennedy Catholic High School: Closed
- Katonah-Lewisboro School District: 2-hour delay
- Lakeland School Dist Including St.Columbanus & Elizabeth Ann Seton: Closed
- Lincoln Hall: Closed
- Pine Plains Central School Dist: Closed
- Putnam Northern Westchester BOCES: Closed
- Somers Central School Dist: Closed
- Tuckahoe School District: Closed
- Westchester Exceptional Children's School: Closed
- Yorktown Head Start: Closed
- Yorktown Central School District Including St. Pat: Closed
