Sears Proposes Downsizing At Jefferson Valley Mall

A possible replacement could a fitness center.

YORKTOWN, NY — Changes could be coming to the Jefferson Valley Mall in the Town of Yorktown. At a recent town board meeting, a representative of Sears presented an idea to downsize its operation to the top floor only.

That would allow the bottom floor to be repurposed and leased out, tapinto.net said.

One possible replacement could be a 24-hour fitness center with a pool, basketball courts and a restaurant.
