Beginning Saturday, February 5th, select Stop &amp; Shop stores in New Haven County will begin to distribute the free N95 masks that are being made available from the Biden Administration to U.S. residents. The Administration is working with partners like Stop &amp; Shop to offer these masks at the same convenient and trusted locations Americans go to get vaccinated and boosted. Quantities will be very limited and will be available on a first come, first-serve basis. There will be a limit of three N95 masks per person. The participating New Haven County stores are: <ul><li>Waterbury - 410 Reidville Drive </li><li>Waterbury - 920 Wolcott Street </li><li>West Haven - 460 Elm Street </li><li>Ansonia - 100 Division Street </li><li>New Haven - 112 Amity Road </li><li>Meriden - 485 Broad Street </li><li>East Haven - 370 Hemingway Ave </li></ul> The distribution of these high-quality masks is an extension of Stop &amp; Shop's commitment to providing access to the tools necessary to combat COVID-19.

FPCY Concerts on The Corner presents GoldenOak Saturday, June 6 · 7:30 PM&nbsp;GoldenOak began as a duo rooted in close vocal harmony and folk songwriting that has grown into a full band — bassist Mike Knowles and drummer Jackson Cromwell round out the quartet who's performed at the Newport Folk Festival, Tanglewood's Ozawa Hall, the Troubadour in Los Angeles, and venues across the US and Europe. Their sound sits at the intersection of indie folk and Americana: Lena's clarinet and vocals weave through Zak's guitar and harmonies, grounded by a rhythm section. Press has described their music as carrying "the windswept warmth of Cowboy Junkies" with "the acoustic melodic flexibility of Mandolin Orange and The Milk Carton Kids." American Songwriter called their work reminiscent of a late-1960s protest tune. Atwood Magazine called it "a somber, stunningly vibrant and soothing call to action."Their 2025 album All the Light in Autumn marks a new chapter - the songwriting takes on questions of environmental responsibility and community without ever turning didactic. The album artwork features nine birds, one for each song's distinct story.
