Senator Harckman Visits Van Cortlandtville Indoor Gym
Equipment was installed recently using a portion of a $25,000 grant.
New York State Senator Peter Harckman stopped by Van Cortandtville Elementary School recently to witness the results of a grant from the his office. The indoor gym equipment was installed recently using a portion of the $25,000 grant. The equipment purchased is being used to enhance the educational environment for the building's special needs population, in particular, and is being used by all students. The remaining funds from the grant will be used to aid in the reconstruction of the school's outdoor playground.
