Shrub Oak Man Accused Of Not Showing Up For 2017 Court Date

The original charge for the man was third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, a misdemeanor

YORKTOWN, NY — A Shrub Oak man was accused of not showing up for a scheduled court date in 2017.

The Yorktown Police Department said Ned Brankovic Jr., 32, of Shrub Oak, was charged with third-degree bail jumping, a misdemeanor.

According to authorities, on Feb. 22, 2017, Brankovic was arrested and charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, a misdemeanor.

On May 25, 2017, police said he failed to appear for a scheduled court date relating to the charge and a bench warrant was subsequently issued by a judge in the Yorktown Justice Court.

Brankovic was processed and arraigned on the bail-jumping charge and released on his own recognizance.
