Snow Showers, Cold Temperatures: Weekend Forecast

That ‘slight chance’ forecasters were talking about the other day has turned into a probability, along with freezing temperatures and gusty winds.

Just the thing when we’re 10 days into spring.

At least things are supposed to warm up again Monday, so everything will keep melting.

Here’s the weekend forecast for northern Westchester from the National Weather Service:

• Today-Cloudy with a 40 percent chance of light snow. Highs in the upper 30s. North winds around 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.
• Tonight-Cloudy. A slight chance of light snow in the evening. Lows in the lower 20s. Northwest winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of snow 20 percent.
• Sunday-Sunny. Highs in the upper 30s. Northwest winds 5 to 10 mph. Gusts up to 20 mph in the morning.
• Sunday Night-Mostly clear in the evening...then becoming partly cloudy. Lows in the upper 20s. South winds 5 to 10 mph.
• Monday-Mostly cloudy in the morning...then becoming partly sunny. Highs around 50.
• Monday Night-Partly cloudy in the evening...then clearing. Lows in the lower 30s.
