Solar Project, Underhill Farm On Yorktown Planning Board Agenda

YORKTOWN-SOMERS, NY — Here are some of the meetings that will be held in Yorktown and Somers the week of June 12.

At 7 p.m. Monday, June 12, the Yorktown Planning Board will hold a regular meeting.

The agenda, which can be viewed in full here, includes a public hearing on the Staples Plaza battery energy storage system expansion at 3333 Crompond Rd., a request for reapproval of Atlantic Appliance site plan for a two-story, 25,720-square-foot building on 5 acres at 2010 Maple Hill St. and discussions on Granite Knolls Park Solar Project and Underhill Farm mixed-use development.

The Yorktown Town Board work session will be held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 13.

Meetings will be in the Town Hall Board Room and on Optimum channel 20 and FiOS channel 33.

In Somers, the Planning Board will hold a regular meeting at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 14.

The agenda, which can be read completely through this link, includes reviews of a proposed subdivision of a parcel adjacent to Green Tree Road, a proposed two-lot subdivision at 19 Olive Dr. and a site plan approval for an expansion of the parking lot at 378 Route 202.

The meeting will take place at the Town House, 335 Route 202 in Somers.
