Key Westchester Political Committee Votes Unanimous Support for Primary Campaign
Beth Davidson’s campaign for Congress in New York’s 17th District has been endorsed by
the Somers Democratic Town Committee, the latest political organization to boost her leading position in the Democratic primary race against Republican Rep. Mike Lawler.
"We support Beth because of her integrity, vision, experience and commitment to our families' future, " said Somers Democratic chair Christine Robbins. "We look forward to working together to promote Democratic values and civic engagement during this crucial race".
"I'm thrilled and grateful to have earned the unanimous support of the Somers Democratic Town Committee," said Davidson. "The Somers Dems mobilized epic turnout in 2025 and I'm excited to work with Chair Christine Robbins and her entire team to win in June and flip NY 17 in November!"

With endorsements by over 150 grassroots community leaders and the Rockland County Democratic Party, Davidson's endorsement from Hsu demonstrates continued district-wide momentum for her key battleground seat Congressional campaign. Davidson, the only Democratic candidate in the
NY-17 congressional race who has won previous election campaigns against Republicans and holds public legislative office, is currently an elected Rockland County Legislator and former Nyack School Board Vice President. A thyroid cancer survivor, she has advocated for affordable healthcare and is working to lower the real costs families face. She and her husband, Jeff, moved to Nyack 20
years ago, where they are raising their two children, both of whom attend public school.
