SOMERS, NY — Want to help advise the Somers Central School District? The district is looking or community members to join its Citizens' Finance Committee.
The committee, which was established in 2006, is advisory to the superintendent and the assistant superintendent for business.
According to a post on Facebook, the committee's purpose is to broaden perspectives and enhance the understanding of the district's financial planning.

Anyone who is interested in joining should send a letter with related background information or a resume to District Clerk Nancy Corrado by Sept. 13.
