State Police in Somers Charge South Salem Man with Felony Assault

The New York State Police in Somers, assisted by the Town of Lewisboro Police Department, arrested Jonathan Tamburro, 25, of South Salem, NY, for Assault 2nd Degree on Sept. 25.

Troopers commenced an investigation Sept. 11 into an assault that allegedly occurred in June of 2014. They accuse Tamburro of assaulting his ex-girlfriend by striking her in the face.

Tamburro was arraigned in the Town of Bedford Court on the felony charge and sent to Westchester County Jail in lieu of $100 cash bail. He is due to appear in Lewisboro Town Court.
