State Worker Arrested For Falsifying Overtime Records: Troopers
Police say the NYSDOT maintenance supervisor from Yorktown falsely claimed over 180 hours of overtime.

YORKTOWN, NY — A Westchester man is accused of fraudulently padding his paycheck at the expense of taxpayers, according to investigators.
New York State Police announced on Thursday that, after a joint investigation with the New York State Department of Transportation, 63-year-old Raymond T. Bergin, of Yorktown, was arrested.
Police said that while employed as a maintenance supervisor for the NYSDOT, Bergin falsely claimed over 180 hours of overtime, which he did not actually work.

He was charged with felony grand larceny and felony falsifying business records.
Bergin was arraigned before the Town of Somers Court and released on his own recognizance. He is scheduled to reappear on September 16.
