Teen Accused Of Making Fraudulent Returns To Store
The 17-year-old was employed at Dick's Sporting Goods, police said.
YORKTOWN, NY — A 17-year-old was accused of stealing more than $1,000 from Dick's Sporting Goods while working at the store.
Yorktown police said they were called to the Jefferson Valley Mall retailer Oct. 29 for a report of a past theft.
The investigation found that the teen made six fraudulent returns while working at the store, costing the retailer $1,057.22.

The 17-year-old was contacted and voluntarily went to the Yorktown Police Department Tuesday with his guardian.
He was arrested and charged with fourth-degree grand larceny, a felony.

The teen was released on his own recognizance and is scheduled to appear in the Felony Youth Part of the Westchester County Court Nov. 19.
