Teen Arrested In Knifepoint Rape At Yorktown Home

Investigators say he lured the victim to his home under false pretenses, and then restrained and sexually assaulted the victim.

YORKTOWN, NY — A teenager was arrested in connection to a terrifying sex crime.

The Yorktown Police Department arrested the 17-year-old Yorktown resident for rape.

On Saturday, around 9:20 p.m., Yorktown police were notified of a possible rape that had occurred earlier that day.

Investigators say the teen lured the victim to his residence under false pretenses and once inside the home, he restrained and forcibly raped the victim at knifepoint.

On Monday, the teen was arrested at his home and taken to Yorktown Police Department headquarters for processing. He was charged as an adolescent offender with felony first degree rape, felony first degree unlawful imprisonment, and misdemeanor second degree menacing.

The teen was arraigned and a temporary order protecting the victim was served, along with the 17-year-old being held on $100,000 cash bail.

The teen was unable to post bail and was taken to a youth detention facility. He was scheduled to appear in the Youth Part of the Westchester County Superior Court on September 23.
