Teen Interactive Movie Sessions: Coming Tuesdays this Summer

Join us on Tuesdays this summer at the Somers Library from 3:15-5:30 for an interactive movie experience. This program is offered for tween/teens entering 6th-12th grades. Come in costume and receive a prize!

July 7th - Ghostbusters (1984); 105 min.(PG): Three unemployed parapsychology professors set up shop as a unique ghost removal service. Eat marshmallows, dance to the Ghostbuster theme song, and more! Registration is REQUIRED.

July 14th - Guardians of the Galaxy (2014); 122 min.(PG-13): A group of intergalactic criminals are forced to work together to stop a fanatical warrior from taking control of the universe. Shout “I am Grout!” put on a Drax mask and much more! Registration is REQUIRED.

July 28th - Jumanji (1995); 104 min.(PG): When two kids find and play a magical board game, they release a man trapped for decades in it and a host of dangers that can only be stopped by finishing the game. Stamp your feet during the Stampede Scene or drink “Monkey Juice” when the monkeys show up, plus more fun interactions! Registration is REQUIRED.

Aug 4th - The Wizard of Oz (1939); 102 min. (G) Dorothy Gale is swept away to a magical land in a tornado and embarks on a quest to see the Wizard who can help her return home. Interact with the movie with supplies provided. Play the “Wicked Witch” song on a kazoo or blow bubbles when Glenda the Good Witch” appears… Plus more fun interactions! Registration is REQUIRED.
