Threat Leads To Harassment Charge For Yorktown Man: PD

Police said the incident occurred in May at an East Main Street residence.

YORKTOWN, NY — A Yorktown man was accused of threatening to kill someone. Police said Angelo Piccolo, 33, was charged with second-degree harassment, a violation.

Around 1 p.m. May 6, police were called to a East Main Street residence for a complaint of harassment. An officer's investigation found Piccolo had threatened the victim, causing the person to become alarmed.

The officer applied for a criminal summons July 27 at which time Piccolo was served with the charge.

He was processed and released on his own recognizance.

Piccolo is due to appear in Yorktown Justice Court Aug. 18.
