Town To Hold Aug. 4 Meeting in Downing Park

It starts early, too.

The Yorktown town board has scheduled its meeting Tuesday for 6 p.m. in Downing Park.

Its last attempt to hold its summer outdoor meeting was foiled by bad weather.

Top on the agenda are plans to schedule three public hearings for Sept. 15, on modifying outdoor lighting rules; making the intersection of Summit Street and Underhill Avenue a full stop; and amending the parking laws to add Ivy Knolls Park to the list of park zones.
