Unconscious Man Accused Of Driving While On Drugs
Police said the man was taken to the hospital for treatment and later turned himself in.
YORKTOWN, NY — A Westchester man was accused of driving under the influence of drugs. Yorktown police said Justin A. Santiago, 20, of Baldwin Place, was charged with misdemeanor driving while ability impaired.
Police said, around 11:45 p.m. Thursday, three officers responded to a report of an unconscious man in the driver's seat of a vehicle that was running.
It was located at the intersection of North Ridge Road and Mill Street.

The investigation found Santiago was under the influence of drugs while he was driving.
He was taken to Hudson Valley Hospital for medical evaluation.

Santiago voluntarily turned himself in Friday at the Yorktown Police Department where he was arrested.
He was processed and released on his own recognizance and is due back in the Yorktown Justice Court June 18.
