Underage Drinker Enforcement Yields 1 Charge out of 10 Stores
State police conducted the check Saturday in Somers, Mahopac and North Salem.
New York State Police conducted an Underage Drinker Enforcement Detail Saturday in the towns of North Salem, Somers and Carmel.
The following establishments were checked with no violations observed:
- Somers Mobil, 291 State Route 100, Somers, NY
- 7-11, 112 State Route 100, Somers, NY
- Uncorked Wine Store, 80 State Route 6, Somers, NY
- Stop & Shop, 80 State Route 6, Somers, NY
- Sunoco 55 State Route 6, Somers, NY
- Valben Heritage Market, 249 State Route 202, Somers NY
- Kingsley Deli, 252 June Rd, North Salem, NY
- Swan Deli, 519 State Route 22, North Salem, NY
- Citgo Gas Station 105 Route 6, Mahopac, NY
One establishment was found to be in violation of the NY State Alcohol and Beverage Control Law, as an employee sold to an underaged person working with the police:

- Mobil Mart, 102 State Route 6, Mahopac, NY
An employee at the Mobil Mart was charged with Prohibited Sale of an Alcoholic Beverage to a Person Under 21 Years Old and issued an Appearance Ticket returnable to the Town of Carmel Court Nov. 7.
