Unemployment Rate in Westchester Dropping Still
There are local jobs to find on Yorktown-Somers Patch.

The unemployment rate for the Rockland-Westchester-Orange county region dropped by almost 1 percent in the past year, state Labor Department officials report.
It was 4.7 percent in March 2015, compared to 5.6 percent in March 2014.

Westchester has one of the lowest unemployment rates in New York—4.7 percent last month. The counties in New York State with the lowest unemployment rates as of March 2015 include:

- Columbia County (4.6%)
