SUMMER MAINSTAGE 2015: “URINETOWN THE MUSICAL” AUDITIONS
Join us for our Summer MainStage and perform in this hilarious comedy! Auditions by Appointment take place on Friday, May 1st from 5:00-8:00 and Saturday, May 2nd from 12:00-3:00pm at the Studio Around the Corner (67 Main St, Brewster, NY).
In a Gotham-like city, a terrible water shortage, caused by a 20-year drought, has led to a government-enforced ban on private toilets. The citizens must use public amenities, regulated by a single malevolent company that profits by charging admission for one of humanity’s most basic needs. Amid the people, a hero decides he’s had enough, and plans a revolution to lead them all to freedom!

The show rehearses intensively 3 nights a week (Tuesdays, Thursdays & Fridays) throughout June and July only and tech/show week is July 20th through July 25th. If cast, registration fee is $195. Limited scholarship opportunities are available. Our program is for ages 8-22 - we will have two cast which will be separated by age appropriateness.
