Visitation, Service for Carol D. Thompson
She was a life-member of the Yorktown Heights Engine Company Ladies Auxiliary.

Carol D. Thompson, a longtime resident of Yorktown Heights, died on October 22, 2016. She was 83.
She was a life-member of the Yorktown Heights Engine Company Ladies Auxiliary and a volunteer at Thrifty Me for many years.
Carol was born in 1933, in Queens, NY, to Clarence and Dorothy Hanf. She graduated Yorktown High School in 1951. In 1951, she married Roger Thompson at the First Presbyterian Church of Yorktown.

Carol will be remembered for her caring, loving and outgoing personality. She enjoyed the beach, music, painting, cooking and most importantly, spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Roger Thompson, daughter Janice Giles and her husband David of Franklin, IN, her son George Thompson and his wife Kelly of Odessa, FL, as well as seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Calling hours are Friday, 2 – 4 and 7 – 9pm at Clark Funeral Home in Yorktown Heights. The funeral service is Saturday, 10am, also at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Amawalk Hill Cemetery.
