Visiting Hours are Sept. 21, 22 for Vincent E. Madaffari

Vincent Edward Madaffari, a resident of Mohegan Lake, passed away Friday September 19, 2014. Vincent was born in the Bronx on September 20, 1940 and was the son of the late Edward and Annie (D’Arminio) Madaffari. He was 73.

Vincent was a graduate of Farleigh Dickinson University where he received his B.S in Electrical Engineering in 1986. He was a retired Electrical Engineer with Technicon. He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed the trotters and telling jokes

Mr. Madaffari is survived by his beloved wife Barbara (Renna); his loving daughters Lauri-Ann (Michael) Medwid and Mary-Ann (Philip) Mele; he loved spending time with his 5 grandchildren Melissa, Christina, Michael, Samantha and Nicole; his siblings Edward and Janet Spears; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visiting hours will be held at Yorktown Funeral Home, 945 E. Main St., Shrub Oak, on Sunday 4-8 PM and Monday-2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral mass will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 AM at Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, East Main St., Shrub Oak. Interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery, Cortlandt Manor.

In lieu of flowers donations to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
