What you can look forward to in Yorktown and Somers

Seasonable temperatures in the 70s might be offset by a few showers and thunderstorms, but in general the next three days look to be quite pleasant.
“The weekend looks to kick off with sunshine and even some seasonably warm temperatures,” said Bill Potter of Hudson Valley Weather.

- Friday-Cloudy with a slight chance of showers in the morning... Then partly sunny in the afternoon. Highs in the lower 70s. Southeast winds around 5 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.
- Friday Night-Mostly cloudy. A slight chance of showers after midnight. Lows in the upper 50s. East winds around 5 mph...becoming north around 5 mph after midnight. Chance of rain 20 percent.
- Saturday-Mostly sunny. Highs in the upper 70s. West winds 5 to 10 mph...becoming north in the afternoon. Gusts up to 20 mph.
- Saturday Night-Mostly clear. Lows in the lower 50s. Northeast winds 5 to 10 mph in the evening...becoming light and variable.
- Sunday-Mostly sunny. Highs in the lower 70s.
- Sunday Night-Partly cloudy in the evening...then becoming mostly cloudy. Lows in the mid 50s.
