“A storm system will approach the Hudson Valley over the weekend,” says Bill Potter of Hudson Valley Weather, “… and bring the potential for a substantial rain event by Sunday into Monday.”

  • Tonight-Mostly clear, with a low around 61. South wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.
  • Saturday-A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 2pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 81. South wind 6 to 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
  • Saturday Night-A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 64. South wind 8 to 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
  • Sunday-Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Cloudy, with a high near 72. Southwest wind around 8 mph becoming north in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
  • Sunday Night-Showers likely. Cloudy, with a low around 52. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New precipitation amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.
  • Monday-Showers likely, mainly before noon. Cloudy, with a high near 64. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
