This weekend’s weather forecast was in a state of flux all week in Westchester County.
On Monday, the National Weather Service predicted nothing but sunny skies for this weekend, but by Wednesday that had changed, and it looked like Saturday had the potential to be a washout.

“In our area, it’s entirely possible that we have a weekend packed full of sunshine and blue skies, without feeling any of the affects from this storm,” writes Hudson Valley Weather’s Bill Potter.
As for the details of the forecast, Friday will be sunny with temps in the low 80s throughout the region.
On Saturday, again mostly sunny skies with temps in the low 80s countywide, and on Sunday, you guessed it, mostly sunny skies with temps in the upper 70s to low 80s for the area.
Even Monday looks good with partly sunny skies and a high near 80, and then on Monday night and Tuesday there is a chance for unsettled weather and thunderstorms.
