Westchester 25-Year-Old Arrested On Felony Stalking Charges, According To State Police
The victim told police an unrequited cyber obsession came to a head when the stalker showed up at the victim's Somers home uninvited.

SOMERS, NY — A Westchester man is facing felony stalking charges after an investigation, according to police.
The New York State Police say that on Sunday, uniform members and the Bureau of Criminal Investigation at Somers arrested 25-year-old Michael Portella, of Yorktown Heights, for felony second-degree stalking.
State police received a stalking complaint on Saturday, where the victim reported being repeatedly contacted by Portella through social media and that they had clearly told him to cease contact. However, Portella allegedly continued the unwanted communication. The victim also told police that Portella had independently obtained their home address and then appeared unannounced at the residence.

Portella was arraigned before the Town of Somers Court and remanded to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail, $25,000 bond, or $50,000 partially secured bond. In addition, a temporary order of protection was issued for the victim.
